From Dublin, Limerick & Ennis
Take the N7 to limerick. Once in Limerick follow signs for the N18 to Ennis.
Leave the M18 at Junction 12 signposted for ENNIS, ENNISTYMON, KILRUSH
Take the 1st exit onto the N85, signposted Ennis, Ennistymon, Kilrush
At next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N85
At the “Clareabbey” roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N85, signposted ENNISTYMON
At the Rocky Road roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted for KILRUSH
At the Kilrush Road roundabout take the 1st exit onto Kilrush Road N68, signposted KILRUSH
Continue on the N68 through the village of LISSYCASEY
Continue on from Lissycasey for approximately 10 to 15 minutes where you will see signs for roadworks, traffic cones, perhaps temporary lights. Slow down here as the signs for Kilmihil/Doonbeg are not on display at the present time.
The CROSSROADS BAR is on your right on the main road.
Turn right immediately following the Crossroads Bar onto the R484 and follow the road.
Continue on the R484 through Kilmihil to the junction with R483.
Turn right onto the R483 signposted for CREE (careful at the narrow bridge) and continue on theR483 into Cree, past the church on the right hand side.
Take the next left after the church onto the R484, signposted Kilkee and Doonbeg Golf Club.
Continue to junction with N67 (take care at this turn).
Turn right onto the N67 and continue for about 1 km.
You will see the flags at the entrance to Doonbeg Golf Club which is on your left.
