Christmas and New Year are all about getting together with family and friends, sharing meals and celebrating. The food being served at the Lodge at Christmas and New Year’s gives a nod to tradition as well as serving you the rich and comforting foods of the season too.

With a cider brined turkey breast, dried fruit and sage dressing along with duck fat roasted potatoes, you have the tradition of Christmas and the richness of the season all wrapped up in one.

Rich foods such as chicken liver parfait, roasted breast of pheasant with apple puree and roasted chestnuts, and grilled rib eye steak with oxtail sauce and bone marrow croquettes feed both our body and soul especially in the dead of winter in the northern hemisphere. They taste so good!

Serving satisfying traditional Christmas pudding with brandy butter; milk chocolate and clove mousse with Clementine sorbet - Christmas flavours with a chocolate twist and embracing the New World with roasted plum sorbet, pumpkin seed and orange flap jack.

Coming home with Irish Artisan cheeses with homemade chutneys complete the food festivities.
