The Lodge at Doonbeg is perched overlooking Doughmore Bay, which is widely regarded as one of Ireland’s finest surfing beaches.

Our surf instructors offer lessons to guests with focused individual attention and progressive direction for beginners on how to surf and how to improve your surfing if you are already able to surf.

Surfing lessons on Doughmore bay requires a minimum of 8 participants.

For couples and smaller groups we can provide you with transfers to the surfing mecca of Lahinch which is located 25 min north of the resort where you can participate in one of the many surf classes which run throughout the year.
